Essence Bakery Café believes in the value of using fresh, flavorful, organic-whenever-possible ingredients sourced from local farmers. Why focus on local farmers? Not only does this reduce Essence’s carbon footprint and support the local economy—it brings more flavorful, nutrient-rich food to the plate because it is harvested nearby and travels a shorter distance. Essence is pleased to incorporate quality ingredients from the following purveyors:

Family-owned and operated in Cave Creek, Arizona, JH offers grass fed and grass finished beef and lamb—quality meats that are free from hormones, antibiotics, grains, and other by-products.
