Not only does this reduce Essence’s carbon footprint and support the local economy—it brings more flavorful, nutrient-rich food to the plate because it is harvested nearby and travels a shorter distance. McClendon's Select is a family-run, certified organic farm located on 25 acres in Peoria, Arizona. Three generations of the McClendon family grow over 100 varieties of organic fruits and vegetables, along with dates, honey and bee pollen. Our produce is sold at twice-weekly farmers' markets in the Phoenix area and to top award-winning restaurants throughout Phoenix, Flagstaff and Sedona. For the past decade, we have created this farm to providing the highest quality organic produce, always harvested and delivered at its peak of freshness in the season for both home cooks and restaurants alike.
We are a whole animal butchery, meaning we hand-cut and prepare our proteins right here at Arcadia Meat Market. All the animals we purchase are from Arizona and either free range and pasture raised, never receiving any antibiotics or growth hormones. We work with producers that care about our planet and the animals they raise, while practicing sustainable methods so their business may continue to thrive for generations to come.

Born and bred in Tempe, Arizona, this local roaster is home to a vast array of artisan coffees, teas, and custom blends. The founder is a rare diploma recipient from the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe; his expertise and care for “the bean” results in a highly memorable cup of coffee.
